Welcome to Loyal. We are so excited to have you join our Loyal family. We were inspired to create Loyal based on issues that we’ve seen in our current food system for so many years. Almost every packaged food or restaurant menu item is loaded with added sugar. Typically, when we want to indulge or enjoy a treat, we reach for something that is loaded with sugar or harmful artificial sweeteners. Even savory items such as tomato sauce and salad dressings contain added sugar for flavor.
As consumers, we are faced with a dilemma. We either splurge on a sweet treat that is loaded with sugar because we assume that it will only taste “real” and good that way. Or we try to eat “clean” but find that our food lacks the flavor that we would like. And we are also surrounded by items that we assume are guilt-free and healthy but are still secretly loaded with sugar and other chemicals. Therefore, up until now, consumers have been sacrificing their own health just to be able to consume their favorite food and beverage items.
Just as we may question the loyalty in our friendships and relationships, we haven’t really questioned our relationship with food. We expect loyalty in all areas of our lives, but haven’t demanded the same from our food and beverages. We’ve always been puzzled by the one-sided relationship that we have with our food and beverage consumption. We consume something, enjoy the taste for a few minutes, but then may feel groggy, sluggish, unmotivated, and may even have long term damage to our health as a result.
We knew that there had to be a way to transform our relationship with consumption into a Loyal one. A relationship that allows you to enjoy what you eat and you drink, but to also feel healthy, strong, motivated, and inspired as a result. This is what inspired us to create Loyal.
Loyal will allow you to enjoy all of your favorite foods and beverages without any of the guilt or negative health implications that come with refined sugar. Just like with a Loyal friend, we hope that you’ll want to take Loyal with you everywhere, so that you can make positive food choices everywhere you go, and turn dull and flavorless meals into decadent treats.
